Daniel McFarland

Daniel McFarland, MHA, is currently an Administrative Fellow with the Johns Hopkins Health System. Even though he is a native of Keithville, Louisiana, Daniel attended the University of Arkansas and earned a Bachelors in Science in Animal Science. Daniel has worked in a wide array of roles including: Interim Assistant Administrator of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Farm Manager of the family farm - Flying Eagle Ranch, Director of Operations for a US Senate campaign, an Administrative Resident at the Baptist Memorial Health System, and a Graduate Assistant at Baptist Health System.
Daniel has a very strong track record of leadership positions including serving as the Student Body President at the University of Arkansas, Pearson Student Advisory Board Member, and the Vice Chairman of the National Junior Angus Association Board of Directors. Daniel was one of the three Administrative Fellows selected by Johns Hopkins for the two year Administrative Fellowship program in 2018 after he completed his Master of Health Administration from the University of Arkansas’ for Medical Sciences. In addition to being a musician, Daniel enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and working with Angus cattle.
