Chapter Goals
Educate
a. Connect with youth (13 -18) and students (college undergraduates) building sustainable relationships providing various forms of mentorship and opportunities.
b. Expanding and improving comprehensive health care education and participation, for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged populations.
c. Organize a regional cluster/conference partnering with the various universities/hospitals within the area.
Empower
a. Create a grant/scholarship program for those deserving and interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.
b. To identify critical approaches for building a diverse leadership pipeline and strategies for influencing organizational cultures.
c. To further expand the development and enrichment of healthcare leadership through the network of peers, executives and community leaders.
Engage
a. To encourage innovative partnerships that move beyond organizational walls.
b. Utilize creative outreach methods to increase and retain membership by 75%.
c. To contribute to the strategy and create innovative ideas of health policy, that meet the needs of the community.
