Samuel Boadu
Immediate Past President
Samuel Boadu Jr. holds a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University School of Public Health and dual Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in Biology and Public Health with a minor in Forensic Science.
His interests lie within the realms of community development, educational opportunity, cultural competency and sensitivity, as well as healthcare both local and international.
As an emerging leader, Sam’s brand encompasses the following:
His Passion – Collaborating to improve health and education, which in turn transforms lives.
His Goal – Working with individuals to reconfigure our systems’ ability to provide equitable opportunity for all people and quality access to healthcare.
His Mission – Working in favor of marginalized communities to decrease disparities both domestically and abroad.
Sam is currently the Division Administrator for Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Clinical Immunology at Johns Hopkins University. He also serves as the Board Chair for Expanding Boundaries International, a Board Member for Civic Works, and Board Member for Mikey’s Miracle Foundation.
In Sam’s spare time he enjoys working with Baltimore City youth as a step coach and mentor. He is also an avid cook and traveler; he highly recommends visiting Ghana his native country!
