As I enter my first year as President of NAHSE Baltimore, I notice that our Chapter, and NAHSE at large, has never been more relevant and important for those of us working in health services in Baltimore, the Mid-Atlantic States region and across the nation and world. I have come to think of the NAHSE network as one very large, multi-faceted, best in class health services family. A network that provides abundant opportunities to learn, mentor, sponsor and uplift, and share top quality research and information.
The social, political, economic injustices our communities continue to experience require that we help our members to navigate through new and increasingly complex professional landscapes, which profoundly impact the companies for which we work, the communities we serve, and the health services profession in general. In many instances, we are responsible to help shape those new professional landscapes which will continue to influence the quality of health services offered in our communities. Over the next two years, we will focus on strengthening our professional network to increase access and opportunities for our members. We are seeking new partnerships and will engage institutional members, sponsors and fellow chapters in new ways to help our members thrive.
Thank you, members, for your continued commitment, participation and enthusiasm in our professional community, and sponsors for your incredible partnership and support. Finally, I'd like to acknowledge and appreciate our Chapter Executive Board Officers and Committee Chairs for their tireless work on behalf of NAHSE Baltimore, and to the NAHSE organization for all the resources, guidance and support they provide every day. Thank you all!
Audrey Johnson NAHSE Baltimore Chapter President
