NAHSE Baltimore is walking to end type 1 diabetes (T1D).
When you have T1D, your body stops producing insulin—a hormone essential to turning food into energy. Managing the disease is a constant struggle that involves monitoring your blood-sugar level, administering insulin, and carefully balancing these insulin doses with your eating and activity just to stay alive.
With T1D there are no days off and there is no cure. But there is hope.

A event bringing together students, early careerist & summer interns with the hopes of introducing participants to other like-minded leaders, resources and ways to get involved within our community.

NAHSE 2019 National Conference

The Annual Educational Conference which includes a host of enriching educational seminars, the latest relevant health care industry information, our popular Opening Session/Public Policy Forum and a CEO/Senior Executive Roundtable. The conference will provide national exposure with an opportunity to showcase your company, brand, career opportunities, products and services.
Maryland Legislative Black Caucus, Senator Shirley Nathan-Pulliam & NAHSE Baltimore Symposium

Since 2013 the NAHSE Baltimore Chapter has partnered with the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland and Senator Shirley Nathan-Pulliam to host a healthcare symposium filled with a day of educational workshops. The focus areas for these symposiums examine the current state of minority health within our communities, provide tools that speak to anticipated changes in the healthcare landscape, and evaluate the downstream impact these efforts will have on organization(s) as well as black and other minority communities.
